Iownit was conceptualised by Bendeta Gordon in 2018 and established in early 2021. Bendeta has personal experienced the overwhelming pressures on owner-operators to market, manage, operate and administrate their businesses. She believes that the support and promotion of owner-operators will contribute significantly to job-creation so badly needed in South Africa.
